RIDDLE (An Enigma)

RIDDLE

Try to interpret and figure out the meaning of this old, old saying:

The night has a thousand eyes
And the walls have a hundred ears
And I have but a fleeting moment
To spend eternity with you

Let me guess, mmmm, at night anyone can see through the darkness without being seen. The walls, when you're talking with someone there might be someone else behind the wall listening what you're saying. And the fleeting moment maybe can become eternal with that special person.

Big greetings and big hugs

Sweet Dreams, from the bottom of my Heart:

I say, the night has lots of eyes 'cause there might be persons awake at night (like Arthur). The wall with ears might have a tapestry with ears. And the fleeting moment can be the only one you have to do whatever you like.

Hehe, just kidding, I agree with Arthur.

Greetings and hugs

Nice Day, with my whole soul:
Gusthav

Hi whata...waste,
You're wrong. You're terribly way off mark. I've never been into drugs. Maybe you are. As the saying goes, "it takes a thief to catch a thief."
Anyway, thanks for dropping by and for whatever it's worth to you, God bless you. Next time, I hope you will be more circumspect with your words because they stink like a rotting carcass.

Hi Arthur,
Thanks for dropping by and for guessing the riddle. You're very near the interpretation. I'll explain it later. Smile. God bless and have a nice and peaceful day.
