Hope Springs Eternal

 HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL
Are you suffering from excruciating pain because of a lingering illness? Are you broken hearted and feel that there is no more reason for you to live? Do you have mountains of problems that you feel you have already reached the end of the line? Is your situation so desperate that you feel you are already at the very edge of a cliff, ready to fall into a deep ravine? Are you suffering from sleepless nights, worrying and fearful of what tomorrow will bring? Do you feel so alone and lonely as if everybody has left and deserted you?

If so, then you must be desperate and hopeless already and could not see any light at the dark tunnel you are in. But wait, isn't it that hope springs eternal? As long as we're still alive, there is still hope for a better and joyful tomorrow. As they say, there is always light at the end of a tunnel.

And so, we hold on to that hope that after all the trials we are encountering, we will find peace, light and deliverance at the end of that dark tunnel.

We must only cling to that hope. Hope of what? Hope is not dreaming nor wishful thinking. We cannot just dream that our fairy godmother will pop out of thin air and give us everything that our hearts desire. Nor do we dream that we will win the high stakes lotto and wipe all our troubles away. No, it will never work that way.

Hope is anchored on a divine promise. Let us just take one divine promise of hope. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Now we know that God's plan for us is to prosper us and to give us hope and a future. So we hold on to this divine promise no matter what situation we may be in right now.

But wait a minute. There is a price for this. Nothing is free in the economy of God. We have to work for everything. Matthew 6:33 says, "Seek you first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you."

The price is just that. We must seek God's kingdom and His righteousness first.
In other words, we have to walk in His ways and follow His divine will and not our own. Then and only then can we really hope to achieve everything that our hearts desire.

...as long as there's a breath in your body, there's always a hope. When there's a hope, there's always a will, when there's a will, there always a way. WE have to work for what we aimed for, it wouldn't just pop up in front of us,even if there's food in front of us, we have to put in our mouth to eat..

Remember that there is a supreme power above all,The Lord, and as long as you have a loving heart,do what you supposed to do,God will send much warmth and love to you in return.God is watching us...

Have a blessed day Mel.

hi Mel, it's my hope and faith in God that keeps me going from day-to-day. i choose to focus on God rather than my problems and cares of the world. i always have hope for a better day, and it is always a better day the next day, just because God Is and because He lets me live another day. my hope in seeing the fulfillment of God's plan and purpose for my life and those around me keeps me going. i know that God didn't send me to school to get my degrees for nothing; i still have hope to put them to use.

thank you for your encouraging comments about my user name. i was feeling a little irritated that someone would do that. as soon as i changed my URL, that other person took my old URL, along with my user name, yet nothing is on their blog. anyway, i've let people know that URL is no longer mine, so hopefully everyone i've been blogging with will find me ok.

have a great day Mel!

Hi Noushy,
Thanks for your visit and for your usual inspiring words. I really appreciate them. Yes, hope is all that we will cling to when everything else falls apart. Thanks again. God bless and have a most wonderful time in London.

Hi Heiresschild,
Just don't mind them. That was just an empty shell, no more no less. That's the reason why they still have not made any posting yet. They just want to ride on the popularity of your blog. The problem is, they can't copy your mind and your inspiration. And we write for the Lord, that's why nobody can copy us. I understand how you feel and I really commiserate with you on your struggles to keep up with the purpose of the Lord for your life.
Thanks again. God bless and have the best time of your life in the US.

Hi Sarah,
I'm amazed that you are very much informed of what's happening in our country. You must be always tuning in on our Filipino networks over there. Yes, hope is something that we will always have as long as we're still alive. Jeremiah 29:11 is a very powerful verse. We can hang on to its promise that whatever happens in our lives, God is still in control. That is, as long as we are doing His will.
Thanks for your visit and your inspiring comments. God bless and have a most wonderful day in the US.

Hi Greenearth,
I thought you were somebody else. It's a good thing that I took a peep at your blog to see that the artist and you are one and the same. He, he, he. You almost got me there. I will always be an admirer of your works of arts. They're not only beautiful and expressive, but your profound thoughts on the subject matter you paint add more depth and meaning to your works. God bless you more for your sensitive insight to God's expressions of life. Thanks again and God bless you with all the inspirations to do more sensitive and expressive paintings. Have a wonderful day in Ausralia.

Hello Mel... Thanks for your visit in my blog and for the nice comments you left. You are right you can never see anything there to suggest that I am suffering from pain. I guess I still cant share my pain there. I just wanted to share God's greatness through the photos I took. I am always in awe of God's creation when I am with nature. I have to live my life to the fullest and make the best of each moment.

God bless you always. I will be praying for you too...

Hi Shielalu,
I understand your feelings and I respect them. Do continue posting your wonderful pictures. They are things of beauty that remind us of God's incomprehensible nature. I will be praying for you for whatever it is that is causing you pain. Just remember that you have a friend here who is always willing to share whatever problems and burdens you may have. God bless and have the most wonderful time in Mindanao.
