Focus On God's Love For Us

FOCUS ON GOD'S LOVE FOR US
To be able to get the maximum effects of the benefits of Christ's crucifixion and death on the cross, let us not focus on our own finite love for God. That love is imperfect and waning just like any other human emotions. Let us focus instead on the love of God for us, for that love is infinite, beyond measure and beyond comprehension.

Ponder this. If God did not hesitate to send His beloved and only begotten Son to save us, how could He ever withhold all the wonderful things that we ask from Him in the name of Jesus Christ? The problem is, we do not know how to ask. Most of the time, we ask impossible things from God and expecting nothing in return as if God is some sort of a modern day genie. And when we fail to receive the imperfect things we ask from Him, we say that God is unjust and does not hear and answer our prayers.

In order to get the things that we ask from God, let us be sure that the conditions for God's answering our prayers, as contained in the Bible, are met. These are:

1) God gives us what we need and not what we want.
2) When we pray, let us believe that God will hear and answer our prayers.
3) We must have a clean heart and soul. We must confess all our sins and accept forgiveness from God.
4) We must forgive the sins of others to us.
5) We must address all our petitions to the Father, in the name of Jesus, and through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
6) We must focus on God's love for us and must maintain an expectant attitude that our prayers will be granted.

Do these and focus on God's immeasurable love for us and we can expect miracles to unravel in our lives.

Yes Mel, despite of all the trials, we should keep in mind that there is always a reason behind it.

Thanks for sharing

Hi Mel, that was very interesting. Now I'll keep in mind these advices. But it's hard to me to forgive sins and offenses from others to me. Remember I am who I am.

Oh, I almost forget it. My blogs were declined and rejected by the Blog Catalog. Now, what shall I do?

Big greetings and big hugs

Hi Mel, now I'll think about love from Jesus to me. You know, I've been very sure He loves me and the ones I love.

Mel, I have bad news: my blogs were also rejected by Blog Catalog, now I don't know what to do.

Greetings and hugs

Nice Day, with my whole soul:
Gusthav

Hi Jlee,
Wow, your remark is simply awesome. I have to hand it to you my friend. You are always saying the right words at the right place. Thanks for your comments. God bless.

Hi Arthur,
Regarding forgiving the offense of others to us, the Bible said, if you don't forgive the sins of others to you, your heavenly Father will not also forgive you your own sins. Did not the Lord's prayer stated that "forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sinned against us?" Nobody's perfect my friend. You may not easily forget the wrong done to you, for that is human nature, but at least you can forgive them their offense to you and banish the thoughts of the offense in your mind. That way, you can move on and not have the spirit of bitterness in your heart. You have done others some wrong too, did not you? What if they do not forgive you too? Regarding the Blog Catalog, we cannot do anything about that my friend. Try then to enter other friendship groups like Friendster and Facebook and advertise your blogs there through linkages. That way, you can expand your contacts to other bloggers. Anyway, you will be still included in the mega love and friendship link that I will launch later on. Thanks again my young friend and God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi Gusthav,
Yes, Jesus loves you so much. Learn to forgive and forget and try not to hold on to grudges and bitterness. They are like acid that will burn your heart and soul. It is better to focus on the positive things in life like learning and growing as a well rounded person. Too bad that you too were not accepted at Blog Catalog. Like Arthur, why don't you join Friendster and Facebook and advertise your blogs there through backlinks. Thank you so much my young friend. God bless you and your family always.

thanks for this :)

Hi From The Eyes of My Heart,
Amen to that. What you said is true. God is holy and those who approach Him must also be holy. But we carry in us the righteousness and holiness of Jesus Christ if we have accepted Him as our Lord and savior so we can approach the throne of grace anytime with renewed confidence. Thanks and God bless.
