Of Dying And Living
Just about two weeks ago, Francis Magalona better known as Franscis M- the master rapper of the Philippines died at quite a young age of 44. Just seven months after he was diagnosed to be suffering from malignant leukemia (cancer of the blood), he died after undergoing the best medical treatments. Just about a month ago, my elder sister died after a second stroke which reduced her to a state of coma and a vegetable condition. Over two months ago, my best friend died of cancer of the ovary. So many people are dying after they were diagnosed to have incurable or dreaded diseases. That is the bane on trusting too much on the miracles of modern medicines and the expertise of specialist doctors. Sick people accepted their fate from the hands of these experts and died in the process. On the other hand, people who do not have the money for treatment from the best doctors but surrendered their fate to God are still alive and some have recuperated from their so called incurable diseases. A dear Christian friend of mine who was scheduled for a major heart operation about three years ago is now very healthy and active in his ministry without the help of his operation. His wife who had lumps in her breast for a possible breast cancer is still alive and very healthy, both of them giving glory to the Lord by their wonderful testimonies. Another old Christian friend who had no money for the operation of his cancer of the prostate gland is now still very much alive after surrendering his fate to God. I should have been dead a long time ago if not for the grace of God. I could go on and on citing cases of Christian friends with dreaded and incurable diseases who left their fate to the tender mercy and grace of God and are still living well and healthy. I commiserate with those living in developed countries and for moneyed people who put their trust in modern medicines and doctors. They usually die after hearing the medical prognosis of their dreaded disease. But for the man of living faith, they live and die in the grace of God. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

Hi Mel....I left a song for you over at my blog.
I hope that you don't mind that I put your blog address in the post.
God bless you...Christian love, Terry
Hi Terry,
No need to apologize Terry. We are Christian brothers and sisters and we don't mind the so called privacy that Western people are so fussy about. Thanks for the song. I will go over to your site to hear it. Thanks for your visit and encouraging comments. God bless you always.
Hi Mel!
I agree with you. God wants us to have healthy life.
Apst. Paul said - "When we are weak, He is strong".
Trust in God, God is the Healer.
God bless you my friend and God bless your family!
A question :
Is there any single person who is 100% healthy ?
If science is 100% developed, nobody will be 100% healthy.
Why to worry. Each sunrise has its sunset and each sunset has its sunrise. God - The decision-maker.
Lets respect his decision and enjoy life.
God is our master physician. He can heal. if it's our time to go then it's time but if we put our trust and faith in Him, we can leave this world peacefully.
Hi Krystyna,
What I am striving to achieve or prove is that we should trust God more than we should trust medical science or human specialists. Many who put their trust in man rather than God died in their unbelief. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
Hi Hobo,
Yes no one is 100% healthy but too much reliance on science alone or in man weakens our faith in God, the ultimate arbiter of man's fate. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless.
Hi sis Pia,
Amen to that sis. Trusting in God more than in anyone else will assure us of the best recourse for our lives. Thanks for your visit and inspired comments. God bless you always.
Life is really short so we have to make sure that we live the right way.

Amen to that, Mel... He is the Ultimate Healer:) Blessed are those who are poor in Spirit for they will keep knocking on His door, they become very dependent on His mercy and grace...
Hi Tey,
It's so nice that you are back to active blogging again. It will help your online business if you are always active in blogging. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
Hi Shawie,
I feel that if I had been so religious in going to the doctor and absorbing everything that they say, I would been dead a long time ago. As it is, I am alive because of God's grace. I just trust in His unfailing love and His faithful promises. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
yeah, but by putting faith in God doesn't mean we can seek divine power without seeking proper medic help. But by the grace of God, we are able to testify God's amazing grace. and be a witness to people.
Hi Eel Wind,
Medical science is good, no doubt about it. But not all people can afford it. What happens to them? Are all who seek medical services cured especially of dreaded and incurable diseases? I say those who trust more on medical science rather than putting their faith in God have succumbed to their diseases but those who trust in God alone survived by the grace of God. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
