Be Strong For The Lord

If you are suffering from all kinds of trials and persecutions, take heart, BE STRONG FOR THE LORD. God is shaking the world from its very foundations to determine who are His and who are not His own. The children of God who will remain faithful to the very end will be fetched by the Lord upon His return. In the meantime, we must stand our guard, ever vigilant against the wiles and unrelenting attacks of the enemy, lest we succumb to temptation and fall into grievous sin. No amount of temptation, persecution or trials can ever bring us down because God will always give us sufficient grace to triumph over them. We do not use our own strength and wisdom but we rely on the Holy Spirit to see us through every dire situations in our lives. Remember, "not by might nor by power but by My Spirit, says the Lord Almighty" (Zechariah 4:6b). We are pilgrims here on earth so that we look at the distant horizon to watch for the return of the Lord to take His bride- His church that is blameless, unblemished and wrinkle free. In the meantime, we suffer all kinds of trials to cleanse us from all impurities and vestiges of the world that are still clinging on us. It is best that we renew our mind by setting its sight on things above not on things below. We should live in order to please God and in everything that we do, we do it all for the glory of God. We surrender everything to God- our lives, our will, our destinies, our loved ones, everything we got, and trust the Lord that He will do what is best for us. We may groan from the sheer weight of the crosses we are bearing right now but in the end, the Lord will wipe every tears in our eyes as He beckons us to come and live with Him forevermore. So take heart and BE STRONG FOR THE LORD.

I do not think too much about God because the subject is huge to understand but yes, we should believe in God.

dear hobo... we don't have to know a lot about god.
you are right...the subject IS so huge...
i know so little about it myself. that is why these verses always give me courage,

Mark 4:30-32

30And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

31It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

32But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

i must say though as i visit such godly blogs as mel's, that i am learning more and more everyday.
god bless you hobo...

Hi Terry,
The inspiration to write comes from the Lord. I just don't write for the sake of writing. My goal has always been to glorify God in all my writings. God has placed a burden in my heart about the untold sufferings of fellow Christians who are undergoing heavy trials on their shoulders. This post was meant to encourage them to be strong for the Lord. With all the calamities and trials the whole world is experiencing, only God can lead us out of this quagmire. Thanks for your visit and very inspiring comments. I'm glad your operation went well. I am still praying for you, your father and sister. God bless you always.
