Grace

One thing that differentiates Christianity from all religions in the world is the idea of grace. And what is grace? Simply put, grace is unmerited favor bestowed by a magnanimous God to undeserving recipients. Grace is never dependent on the status of the recipient but on his willingness to accept grace and surrender himself to God. Thus, we will never be saved by our own meritorious good works alone. And this grace is bestowed to all individuals who will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. Thus, salvation is a grace from God. I never would have fully understood this word if I have not tasted and experienced it in my own life. Salvation through the acceptance of Jesus Christ was easy enough. But transformation, whereby we are transformed from glory to glory until we reach the whole measure of the fullness of Jesus Christ is not. Thus, we need the grace of God to achieve it. Totally abandoning our former lives of indulgence in pleasure and sinful living is almost impossible without the grace of God. Thus we see former sinners turning into veritable saints because of God's grace. I myself live by the grace of God alone. I would have been dead a long time ago, but by the grace of God I am still alive to give glory to His name. Thus, I wake up each morning thanking God for the grace of life. And the more I experience His divine grace in my life, the more I am humbled and amazed. Now, I just live to please God and give glory to His name. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

This is the essence of Christianity - we have salvation by grace. Sad is that we are trying to earn salvation for, we sometimes do not appreciate the gift of grace.

Thank you Mel for very important thoughts! Beautiful post and pics.
God bless!

Hi Krystyna,
Only Christians who have access to the wonders of God's grace can really appreciate it. Others still try to work their own salvation by their own meritorious good works. How sad that they fail to understand the immutable wonders of the grace of God. Thanks for your visit and inspired comments. God bless you always.
