No Condemnation

No Condemnation

Condemnation From Jury of Peers

In our criminal justice system especially in the Philippines and in most third world countries, to be tried, convicted and incarcerated in jails mean a lifetime of shame, ostracism and a second class status among the inhabitants of the country. Ex convicts are looked down upon with fear and derision and they are discriminated upon in most opportunities especially in looking for jobs. They may have been pardoned by the government and society but the stigma of their crimes will forever be indelibly marked in their personalities.

Not so with God. No matter how grievous or abominable our sins maybe, if we accept God's prescription for forgiveness of sins and eternal life, not only are our sins forgiven, they are forever erased in God's reckoning as though we never committed any sin at all. That is the power of God's restoration of our original identity as being created in His image and likeness. The only price we have to pay is to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior and surrender our lives to Him. We could never attain salvation through individual or corporate acts of good works or self righteousness. Those who do so would only find their way barred from entering God's kingdom. The Father prescribed only one exclusive way, and that is the way of His only begotten Son- Jesus Christ. THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS.

That is so true KUyaM. Let's say all your life you are doing all the good deeds and suddenly you have committed a mistake, people will immediately condemn you.. Remember the bad but not the good deeds you did.. so judgmental..

Thanks KuyaM for your support to Rye! I know she's not going to make it but your vote everyday means a lot plus a post a in here.. God bless Kuya, have a safe week ahead!

I think it is not just in the Philippines. it's everywhere. Although I must admit that it is really worst how Pinoy condemned someone.

Hi John,
God is the very epitome of patience. He is always there waiting for us to come to Him when we become tired of this world and He always forgive and never count the cost. I am supporting Rylie because I treat her as my own child. I will be so happy if she wins the contest. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Tey,
Yes, you are right. People are so easy to condemn others forgetting that they too have their own faults. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Mel. Very good post on forgiveness of sins. My friend was sued by her ex-friend for fraud. It has been a year long legal battle. Needless to say, my friend was very concerned about her image. Her aunt tells her (I'm glad I heard it too) that "no matter what, God knows the truth. Even if the law found you guilty of fraud, just as long you know the truth, God knows the truth, you will be at peace even if the law is not on your side. But if you did commit fraud, and the law found you innocent, you won't be at peace because you know you are guilty. So it doesn't matter what the outcome is, as long as you know in your heart the truth". I thought that was such a powerful piece of advice, I even began to care less about many things that was happening in my life too.

Hi Rose Belle,
In the ultimate analysis, what the world think about us is not that important. Each man carries his own burden and does not bother to think about other people. But God looks at the heart. He knows who is guilty and who is innocent. And when God forgives our sins, He completely forgets them as though we never ever committed any sin at all. Thanks for your visit and inspired comments. God bless you always.
