THE GREAT TRIBULATION
After the rapture of the church of God, wherein all genuine born again Christians or those who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior will be taken by the Lord to be with Him in heaven, the dreaded and horrible Great Tribulation will ensue. This is a terrible seven year period of extreme horror and earthshaking events never before seen or will be seen again on earth. The Great Tribulation period will be divided into two equal parts of three and a half years. The first three and a half years will be a period of great hope for all the people of the world as the Anti Christ will appear in the world scene and will appear to have solved all the economic and political problems of the world. He will be hailed as a great leader of the world where he will establish a new world government and a new economic order for the world. But at the end of those three and a half year period, he will declare himself as a great demigod and will force all people of the world to have a mark on their hands or forehead for them to transact with any government entity. Failure to have those mark on their hands and foreheads will mean beheading for the person concerned. Most of those who will be beheaded will be Jewish converts who will preach the Gospel to the world that has gone cold and whose hearts have hardened. The second three and a half year period will be one of extreme suffering and worldwide cataclysm where devastating earthquakes will split most of the inhabited areas of the earth. Hailstones, as big as small boulders and fist sized rocks , will fall from the sky to torment all people. Meteorites, great in numbers, will also fall from the sky to scorch the earth and kill millions of people. Even in the most horrible and extremely painful situations, the people of the earth will not mend their ways but instead curse God because of their extreme sufferings. Multitudes of over sized locusts will invade the remaining plants on earth and sting people with their extremely painful stingers. Woe to those who will be left behind on earth for they will suffer all of these agonies and much more as described in the Book of Revelation in the Holy Bible. CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD AND BE SAVED.

Sa iyong tanong kung ito na ba ang signs of the times? Ang sagot ko ay oo at hindi ko alam. Oo na ang mga pangyayari ngayon ay pulos signs of the times at ewan ko kung kailan ang takdang kaganapan nang lahat nang ito. Diyos lamang ang nakakatalos nang lahat nang ito. brother mel.. this is a scary thought indeed. lately, there are already so many things and events that shocked the world, like it's starting to remind us that we need to mend our crazy ways. i could only hope and pray that we all could be saved from this great tribulation. by the way, it's a sad thing to know that there are still some people who don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah

All of these things were written so long ago us prophecies and as all prophecies in the Bible, they always come to pass unerringly. People will believe what they want to believe in. Some people are so steeped in sin that they are willing to deny the very existence of God and Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. I hope I can share in your wistful thinking, but these events were likened to the separation of the goats from the sheep, the separation of the tares from the wheat. It is not as if God is not merciful, it is the choice of every individual whether they will accept the grace of salvation freely given by God or they reject it to their own doom and destruction. You can never blame God and insinuate that He is heartless and unmerciful if the people themselves decree their own eternal death and destruction. In other words, you can not have your cake (indulge in the sinfulness of the world) and eat it too (be saved). Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

There is only one way to assure salvation and to be included in the rapture of the church by Jesus Christ. You have to accept Him as your Lord and savior and surrender your life to Him. To do this, you have to recite the prayer of acceptance audibly and with your whole heart. There is no standard prayer of acceptance. You can search for it in the internet. There are two elements in the prayer of acceptance and it is stated in Romans 10:9, "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." The first element is confessing audibly so that it will be heard in the heavenlies by the lord of this world (Satan)and secondly, you must believe in it with your whole heart (sincerely and not mere lip service). For if you comply with these two criteria, the Holy Spirit will come down to you and bring to life your long dead spirit. Thus you are born again in Spirit and in truth. Hoping is just wishful thinking. You have to comply with the two steps for assurance. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Yes, that is also one of my favorite Bible verses. It also summarizes the two vital elements in accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior which are- confessing with our mouth and believing in our hearts.
