Rapture

RAPTURE
What is rapture? Rapture is that most amazing and spectacular moment when Christ will fetch His church to meet Him on the air and spare it the horrors and extreme sufferings of the seven years of Great Tribulation. The church here is not any physical structure but the people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior and have lived their lives according to His will. It will not be witnessed by people around the world but will happen in an instance, in a twinkling of the eye. This is not the second coming of Jesus Christ. This is the rapture of His church which is described in the Bible as spotless, without blemish and wrinkle free (referring to the white robe of righteousness of true Christians). This is described by Paul in 1Thessalonians 4: 16-17, "For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." There will be pandemonium and chaos around the world as people who will be left behind will suddenly realize the truth of the word of God. And a great dread will come upon them from the expectation of the onset of the Great Tribulation. There will be bedlam and great confusion as millions will suddenly vanish in thin air and all the newspapers the morning after will scream with headlines of "Millions Disappear, Vanish Into Thin Air." The people who disregarded the preachings and warnings of well meaning Christians will rue the day that they did not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. Their homemade philosophies in life will become as hollow as the emptiness they will feel when they realize that they were left behind.

There is a Christian domination that I cannot tell here, who believes that Rapture is the 2nd coming of Christ. They believe that when we die our bodies stay buried and only in the rapture when "Christ comes back again" He will lift us up to heaven and that heaven is not rewarded right away to those believers who are dead. I was really astonished with the belief because they said we , most Christians don't get it and misunderstood the concept of heaven. I just did not say anything .

Hi Bingkee,
They are the misguided ones, the blind leading other blinds to fall into the pit. They misunderstand the Bible and insist on their own faulty interpretation. They are wolves in sheep's clothing, the blind guides that will lead people to their doom. Rapture will take place before the Great Tribulation in accordance with God's promise to spare His church (church of Philadelphia in Revelations 3:10)from the Great Tribulation. The Great Tribulation will happen after the Rapture and will last for seven years where the Anti Christ will appear. Then after the Great Tribulation, Jesus Christ will come with great funfare and glory to start His millennial reign on earth and Satan will be chained in the Abyss during the one thousand millennial reign of Jesus Christ. That is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and not the Rapture. Just don't mind them Bingkee. They will suffer judgment with their erroneous interpretation of the Bible. Thanks for your visit and meaningful comments. God bless you all always.

Hi teJan/Laikka,
Yes, definitely rapture will come before the Great Tribulation and woe to the people who will be left behind. They will suffer unimaginable sufferings and horrors from the extreme calamities that will befall the earth. This can be avoid if people will just accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior and surrender their lives to Him. When that dreadful day comes, they will not have any excuse for their obstinacy and rebellion. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

I hope all of us will be in heaven..even killers..God will forgive them perhaps........

Mel Avila Alarilla said...

Hi Arvin,
Sorry to tell you that that is impossible to happen unless the people concerned will humble themselves and repent their sin and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior and surrender their lives to Him. There is no other way. Man cannot go on sinning and expect to go to heaven. It's like having your cake and being able to eat it too. The only hindrance to man's acceptance of God's grace of salvation is human pride and obstinacy. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Tey,
We should since rapture can come anytime when we least expect it. If we are not ready, by not accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior and by surrendering our lives to Him, then we will be left behind to face the terrible ordeals of the Great Tribulation. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Meretrisha,
When I first started blogging and giving unsolicited counseling to bipolar patients (manic-depressive), I was often rudely criticized and disparaged. Many screamed, stop your preaching to us, we don't need them. But I persevered with my posts knowing that what I was doing was my ministry for the Lord until I got my own niche in the blog world. We can all do our share to inform people about the Gospel message of salvation. This is a form of witnessing for the Lord. We don't want our friends and relatives to be left behind after the rapture, don't we? Thanks for your visit and inspired comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Krystyna,
Since we are witnessing at this present age the signs of the incoming Great Tribulation, it just follows that we focus on the rapture of the church as promised by Jesus Christ in His letter to the church of Philadelphia in Revelations 3:7-10. This will be a momentous event that will happen around the world when suddenly millions will vanish into thin air. We pity those who will be left behind to suffer the great calamities that will befall the earth during the Great Tribulation. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always. BTW, I have been praying for you that the Lord will give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation and the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Ciao.
