Road Map To Eternity

ROAD MAP TO ETERNITY
One of the most astounding discovery of the modern era is the invention of the GPS or the Global Positioning System. With this device, you will be able to know exactly where you are relative to the position of any place on earth. I am not well verse on its actual mechanics or how it really functions, but it has resulted in reduced travel times for travelers. Many travelers now can go anywhere else in the world using a reliable GPS, compass and road maps. There is no longer any uncharted territory on earth for any place can be reached and traversed. We may be able to determine the exact path we should take in traversing point A to point B anywhere else in the world but do we have a reliable road map to eternity? Think about that. We prepare for any eventuality in our lives. We send our kids to the best schools to prepare them to have a better chance of success in the future. We buy all kinds of insurance and invest in all kinds of securities as a hedge against the uncertainties of the future. But we treat eternity as though it never exist and that we are living our lives solely for this world and for the present times alone. Where is our road map to eternity? The Bible is the only sure road map and guide to eternity. Read it and live the commands and precepts of the Lord and we will assure ourselves of a purposive life here on earth and a blissful life with the Lord for all eternity.

Hi teJan,
Yun nga ang nakalulungkot. Masyadong advance na ang tao sa lahat nang bagay pwera lang sa spirituality. Nakalulungkot na ipinagwawalang bahala lang nang tao ang kanyang pang walang katapusang hinaharap. Thanks for your visit and inspired comments. God bless you all always.

i so much agree with you Sir Mel, pati yung mga reply mo sa comments.. Na-eenjoy natin ang technology pero masyado nagiging easy ang buhay because of this. May advantages at disadvantages din, mapapawalang bahala natin ang spiritual life dahil we're overwhelmed with the hi technology things surround us. Thanks for this post.. ANg dami ko yata na-missed na mga post =(

Hi Bambie dear,
Amidst all the hitech gadgets and comforts we enjoy in life, one thing must always remain constant in us, and that is our closer relationship with the Lord. Sabi nga sa Bible, "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world if he suffers the loss of his soul." Kailangang nakatayo tayo sa matibay na pundasyon at yun eh ang ating personal na relasyon sa Diyos. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
