Soul Winning
SOUL WINNING
Soul winning is the desire in the heart of all Christians to save his fellow brother from the danger of eternal death and separation from the presence of the Lord. The born again Christian, who has experienced the joy and thrill of attaining eternal life through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior, has this overwhelming and unquenchable desire in his heart to tell the good news of their salvation. It is not a question of converting a non believer to his church or religion for neither of them can save an individual from eternal death. Only the acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior assures any person of eternal life with the Lord. The burden of soul winning is placed by the Holy Spirit in the hearts of all earnest Christians. It is as though a fire will burn them up if they will not witness for the Lord. The Lord wants that none should perish but wants all to attain eternal life through the saving grace of the Gospel of the Lord. The Gospel is the never ending story of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and His eventual return to earth to judge the living and the dead. CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD AND BE SAVED.

I used to try so hard to make others believe what I believe. But now I learned that I shouldn't be trying too hard when I learned that Jesus urged us not to force anyone to believe what we believe.
He said it in Matthew 7:6, "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet and then turn and tear you to pieces."
So I changed my goal----my goal is to share and make clear the gospel ---not only through words but by the life and faith I live.
Hi Bingkee,
The Bible quotation is all so true. We will just make our brother unbeliever guilty of sinning when he ridicules the word of God because of our untimely admonition. The best solution is to rely on the leading of the Holy Spirit when we should open our mouth to testify and witness for the Lord. We can start by telling others our changed and transformed lives when we surrendered it to Jesus Christ. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Dhemz,
That's what I'm doing, using the internet to spread the message of the Gospel without pressuring anyone. It is the Holy Spirit who is evangelizing. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
