Heart Of Worship

HEART OF WORSHIP
When we go to church to hear mass or to a Christian church to attend our fellowship service with the Lord, we do all things to prepare ourselves. We come in our Sunday's best. We choose the choicest seats in the church and acknowledge the presence of other church goers. We listen in rapt silence as the priest celebrates the mass or as the pastor delivers his soul moving sermon. We are thrilled to sing praise and worship songs to the Lord. But have we forgotten something? Have we forgotten the heart of worship? The reason why we are in the church, hearing mass or celebrating fellowship together with other Christians, is the very essence of our spiritual relationship with the Lord. We must never forget the sole and real heart of worship and that is, focusing our hearts, mind and soul to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He is the sole heart of worship. We must never leave the church without being filled with the Holy Spirit as we commune with God and feel the intimacy of His wondrous relationship with us. We must realize the full potential of our sonship of God and being co-heir with Jesus Christ of the kingdom of the Father. We must seek that intimacy with God, feeling His very presence in our hearts as we sing from our heart and soul our love, yearnings and aspirations in an intimate communing with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We go home filled with so much joy and bursting with the fruit of the Holy Spirit as though we are walking on thin air. Yes, whenever we go to church, we must never forget the heart of worship who is Jesus Christ.

Hear this song and receive a special blessing in your life.

You made me inspired once again Kuya Mel..this post reminds me sometimes about myself. I don't want to sound hypocrite and for sure this happens to majority of us. People tend to lost their focus particularly on the sermon because we are too occupied in watching others.

But eventually, I was able to bring my mind into focus by closing my eyes attempting to absorb the words of God. Not just that, but the paramount is to implement it which is all that matters.

Hi Umma,
Actually the post was inspired by that popular praise and worship song- Heart of Worship where the composer discovered the true essence of worship in his heart. Worship is all encompassing and we must focus on God alone. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Arvin,
Tama ka duon Arvin. If we are in front of the president I'm sure we will give him our full attention. How much more if we are in front of the Creator of heaven and earth and all creatures of the world. Should we not give Him our full attention too? Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Thanks for this post po and for sharing the music.. download ko nga po..

Hi Bambie,
We owe it to God to focus on Him when we come to mass every Sunday. That's the least we can do for Him. The music video is really very inspiring. It describes the real heart of worship. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
