Hope Springs Eternal
Are you suffering from excruciating pain because of a lingering illness? Do you have mountains of problems that you feel you have already reached the end of the line? Is your situation so desperate that you feel you are already at the very edge of a cliff, ready to fall into a deep ravine? Are you suffering from sleepless nights, worrying and fearful of what tomorrow will bring? Do you feel so alone and lonely as if everybody has left and deserted you? The antidote to all these is HOPE.
And so, we hold on to that hope that after all the trials we are encountering, we will find peace, light and deliverance at the end of that dark tunnel. Hope is not dreaming nor wishful thinking. We cannot just dream that our fairy godmother will pop out of thin air and give us everything that our hearts desire. Nor do we dream that we will win the high stakes lotto and wipe all our troubles away. No, it will never work that way.
Hope is anchored on a divine promise. Let us just take one divine promise of hope. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Now we know that God's plan for us is to prosper us and to give us hope and a future. So we hold on to this divine promise no matter what situation we may be in right now. But wait a minute. There is a price for this. Nothing is free in the economy of God. We have to work for everything. Matthew 6:33 says, "Seek you first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you."
The price is just that. We must seek God's kingdom and His righteousness first.
In other words, we have to walk in His ways and follow His divine will and not our own. Then and only then can we really hope to achieve everything that our hearts desire.

Hi Kim,
Yes, without hope life would be meaningless. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
tama..pagkatapos ng unos sa buhay ay sisikat din ang araw para sa atin..dahil kahit gaano man kahaba ang dilim sa dulo ay may liwanag..
Hi Arvin,
You are right there. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
This is life, full of ups and downs. Kaya we shouldn't lose hope and let our faith take out our worries. Sabagay if we believe naman, di tayo mag-aalala.. Thanks for this post. God bless you always.
kuya mel, i always believed na wala sa gara ng sambahan o ng magarang altar ang kaharian ng Diyos. ito ay nananahan sa ating puso, only, WE MUST ACCEPT HIM AND BELIEVED IN HIM....
salamat sa prayer. patuloy na inaaral ang sarili kun anu nga b ang nararamdaman:)
a little fact lng kuya mel, pag above normal ang bp mo, (ang normal systolic ata sa males ay 120 o 130) when u reached beyond that and the fact ur under meds "pero kaya nman ng ating body"...there must be other factors w/c makes it go overboard maybe not bcoz of diabetes or other ilness we thought we have...there may be OTHER that makes it surged.
inaaral ko kz yan kuya mel kz makulit un husband ko...palagi d normal ang blood chem, nkkipagaway p sa doctor nia, hehe...
salamat sa mga magagandang mensahe.
ingat po lagi.
Hi Bambie dear,
How right you are. Life is never constant. We all have our ups and downs. But if we have hope in the Lord, then we will never worry of what tomorrow may bring. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
Hi Imriz,
Yes, I agree with your statement that irregardless of the physical condition of our churches, it is in the acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior that will set us free from the chains of Satan and sin. Regarding what is normal blood pressure for people, I have long discarded the findings of doctors regarding my health. Have I listened to them, I would have been dead by now. Although I am religiously taking my maintenance medicines both for hypertension and diabetes, I leave it all to God to keep me alive. I was supposed to be operated for acute hernia and prostate gland, for my deteriorated scoliosis at my lower back and for an overgrown thyroid gland. I have to forgo the operation because my wife was going then to the US to work. It was almost five since then and I am still alive by the grace of God. Now I am taking care of my kids as their father and mother and I am ministering in the internet using my blogs. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
