Rediscovery- The Reawakening Of Our Soul

As we walk in the threshold of a new beginning in our lives, it's timely to reawaken the long dormant dreams and joys in our hearts and rediscover the things that can change our lives forevermore.

Let us rediscover the joy of communing with God in our hearts, of cleansing ourselves of all the dirt and stains of worldly living and walk with faith with Him once more.

Let us rediscover the beauty of nature as we wonder in awe at the majestic mountains rising above everything else in our view.

Let us rediscover the beauty of the sunset in our favorite bay walk as peace and harmony settle down to our boisterous environment.

Let us rediscover the unfolding sunrise in our favorite beach by the seashore as we watch flocks of sea birds flying ecstatically in the skies.

Let us rediscover the joy and thrill of watching in awe the first cry of a new born infant as she struggles to make a resounding impact to a new beginning.

Let us rediscover the joy of expressing our artistic talents once more. They have lain dormant in our creative attic for so long because of our frenzied struggles to eke out a decent living.

Whatever it is that will bring us joy to rediscover that we are still wonderfully alive, let us do it with the exuberance and enthusiasm of youth.

Let us rediscover the joy of actively living and make each moment of our lives truly a magical one. LET US REDISCOVER OURSELVES ONCE MORE.

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your visit and your very kind words my kid sister in Christ, but as always, TO GOD BE THE GLORY. The Lord will bless you more and more as you partake in the task of spreading the Good News of the Gospel of salvation, love, joy and peace to the world. You are now a worker in the vineyard of the Lord and as you can see, the harvest field is teeming with such abundance of harvest. The Lord needs more reapers to harvest the golden grain of souls. When the Lord comes, may He find us faithful. Thanks again my wonderful sister and friend. God bless you, your family and your ministry and may He shower you with all the good and wonderful things in life. Have a wonderful and peaceful day in the US. MARAMING SALAMAT KAIBIGAN AT KAPATID.

That was so beautiful and inspiring!Nothing like re-discovering the beauty within ourselves and that which surround us.What better food for the soul there could be?I love what you have written here :)

As for my latest post, those were letters as in the alphabet rather! And there has been an exchange of love smses and e-mails down the line, but not letters as such!Still, they mean the world to me and as you said, they are just for the two of us.

I am still in India,my last three days here.As for another blog,I do not think I would like to start one, cause it takes a lot to devote myself to one blog itself and I am happy with it.As for the short stories,I would write them once in a while whenever the urge strikes, and as you had suggested, would compile them to publish someday.I do hope to start writing a novel soon.I have not heard of the book but I am sure it must be really good if you came to love India so much after reading it.

Take care dear friend.God Bless You always.

Hi Sameera,
I'm sure you're enjoying your vacation in India to the hilt. I can't blame you. As they say, there's no place like home. Thanks for the inspiring comments you made on my blog. But as usual, TO GOD BE THE GLORY. You see, you've inspired me a lot with your style of writing especially your short stories. One of these days, I might be tempted to compose one too, but I'm afraid it will not come out as good as yours. I already have the plot of the story in my mind for so long ago and probably it may come out as some sort of a novelette or a short novel. I don't know. If the inspiration is there I might write it. Are all your short stories filed in your blog? I would love to reread some of them once in a while. Bye for now and do enjoy your vacation in your beloved India. God bless and have the grandest time in India.

Hi Krystyna,
TO GOD BE THE GLORY. I do everything for Him and Him alone, my wonderful friend. That's why I don't accept accolades and honors for myself. I don't want to steal any glory from my God. You have been a source of inspiration for me too with your strong faith in God. I will surely continue to pray for Kevin, your grandson and I'm sure there are also many bloggers, who also read your article about him, who will pray for his healing too. Let us hold on to God's promise of healing and deliverance and apply them to Kevin. This particular promise worked wonders for me, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord." (Jeremiah 30:17) Whenever you pray for Kevin, claim this powerful divine promise for him. Thanks for appreciating the song of the Carpenters- Top Of The World. I really miss the wonderful voice of Karen. But I read that Richard got a Filipina, who sing exactly like Karen, to try to record a new song for the Carpenters. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will revive the music of the Carpenters. I'm a big fan of them.
Thanks for your visit and God bless you and your entire family and household. Have a wonderful time in the US.

Hi Greenearth,
Thanks for your visit and your inspiring comments. I'm sorry if I have not visited you as often as I would want too. My access to our computer is very limited since it's vacation time for my kids and they hog the computer all day long. I'm left with a small time in the wee hours of the morning when they're all fast asleep. He, he, he, It's survival of the fittest in our house as far as usage of computer is concerned and I'm the weakest. He, he, he, *lol* Even my youngest daughter- Princess Heidi (she's just six years old), beats me up in wrestling to be able to watch her favorite cartoon shows on TV. Woe is me. He, he, he, *lol* I'm astounded though by the quality of the articles you post in your blog. I hope you will post them too at WUB so that more people can read them. You are an extraordinary writer and environmental enthusiast. Your articles on the environment deserve to be fully disseminated to as many people as possible. And what can I say about your works of arts and your inspired spiritual thoughts about them. I can say they are truly magical. You are a gem of a blogger in Bloglandia. And I'm so much honored to have known and corresponded with you. Thanks again for your visit. God bless and have the most wonderful time in Australia.

Hi MEL..

hhehehe..I promised you that my hangover is over..tehehhee, it's time to move forward to see what lies ahead..

And just as what your posting said, it's time for us to rediscover, reawakening and make readjustment as necessary in our lives for the better from the past years...be it physically, emotionally or spiritually.

As year passes by,another year wiser and older, another year closer to our final destination, thus it's the best time also to start( if before never ) or constantly communing with the Creator, The Lord....

This posting really give me a positive perspective on life! Thanks Mel for the inspiring post.Have a good w/end and be happy.

Hi Mississippi Songbird,
Yes, I love that song too by the Carpenters. How I miss the wonderful voice of Karen Carpenter. I read that Richard is planning to revive the recording of the Carpenters and he has found a Filipina whose voice is exactly like Karen's after a worldwide search. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that soon we will hear again that familiar voice that popularized the Carpenters in the seventies and eighties. Thanks for your visit and your warm greetings. God bless and have the best time of your life in the US.

Hi Noushy,
Thanks God you're over your hangovers. He, he, he. But it's not only wine where we get hangovers. Love leaves us with the worst or (best?) hangovers. We can't seem to get over it. He, he, he. *lol* I mean the feeling of love, not the physical thing, lest I might be misinterpreted as being green. He, he, he. I'm so glad you had the most wonderful time with your triple celebration. It's not everyday that you get to celebrate your triple celebrations with the whole world. Isn't that really fantastic. You must be feeling on top of the world last Dec. 31. And who wouldn't be? You're good, nice and wonderful that's why God has blessed you so much. Just remember never to disregard Him in everything you do and He will bless you more, you and your loved ones. May this year 2008 bring you more blessings and fulfillments in life.
God bless and have the most wonderful time of your life in foggy (still foggy and chilly eh?) London.

Hi David,
Thanks for your visit and your warm greetings my friend from Portugal who I think holds the record for the most number of comments in your blog. You average 500 to 600 comments per post. Wow, that's simply amazing. And you post articles of universal appeal since you take the cudgels for the oppressed and downtrodden. God bless you more for your noble and worthy endeavors. I salute you my friend for the efforts you make to bring justice to those who are victims of injustices in their own countries. My prayers go to you and to all those you are assisting. God bless you my friend with all the blessings and graces that God can bestow to a noble person like you. Have the best time of your life in sunny Portugal.

Hi Ceedy,
By all means you can have my article reprinted. I don't do copyrights, for my articles were all inspired by God. I can never take any credit for them.
You are young and very bright and you have a bright future ahead of you. Just acquire the right and timeless knowledge and they will serve you in good stead when the going gets rough in life. Listen to the inner voice in your heart rather than the blaring noises on the outside. The jangling noises of the world will just lead you astray. Learn to distinguish between the timeless values in life as against the worthless trinkets of the world. Then you will discover your true purpose in life.
As the Good Book says, "people perish for lack of knowledge." Just a few reminders from a journeyman who is nearing his final destination in life. May the light of God shine upon you in your quest for truth and knowledge. God bless and have a wonderful time in your place of work in the US.

Hi Mel, thanks a lot for your kindly comments in my corner and in my poll.

Have an excellent 2008, full of awesome moments, funny days and joyful months.

I found myself being the joy of myself and my family, but more for Arthur, in order to give him a funny life, and to cool down his anger, and even his Mother's anger too.

Now I know why God put me in Arthur's life, so I wanna thank Him, 'cause I'm also happy with Arthur (and his family) in my life. What would I do without him? What would I do even without you Mel, and without those who visit me and leave their kind comments?

Greetings and hugs

Nice Day, with my whole soul:
Gusthav

I'm sorry that I was out of circulation for three days. We were without internet for 3 days now because of virus problems. I'm just using an internet cafe here in our country and it's not so comfortable unlike home. Anyway, thanks for your visit and I expect you to be back in Dubai in our next correspondence. It will probably take a longer time before I can make a short story since I'm really not comfortable here. Thanks again and God bless.
