Encounter With God

 ENCOUNTER WITH GOD
Why was Paul so fanatical in spreading the Gospel to the point that he gave his own life for it? Was not Paul the same person who persecuted the church and was the cause of death of so many early Christians? Was he not on his way to Damascus bearing with him a letter from the high priest to conduct a hunt for Christians there?

The answer is simple. He had an encounter with the very person he was persecuting. He was struck blind on the road to Damascus and Jesus showed Himself to him. From then on, he lived a life dedicated solely to the spread of the Gospel until he was arrested and executed in Rome.

We need that same encounter with God to fire us in our efforts to preach the Gospel of salvation to the entire world. We just have to hold on to His promise and must desire the encounter with all our heart.

Of all the people who went to the graveyard of Jesus, only one actually saw Him first. She was Mary Magdalene. She refused to leave the grave site until she saw her master and she was rewarded for her persistence. Jesus showed Himself to her.

God promised in Jeremiah 29: 13-14 that we can see Him if we seek Him with all our heart. Jeremiah 29: 13-14 says, You will seek Me and find Me if you seek Me with all of your heart, I will be found by you, declares the Lord." God never lies. He is always true to His words. Shall we start seeking God?

Hi Mel, since many time, every night, I've thought about Jesus, wondering when and where could I find Him.

But guess what, I've seen Him in Kirby's Dream Land once (or twice I can't remember well) since I started to post in my Dream blog.

Big greetings and big hugs

Sweet Dreams, from the bottom of my Heart:
Arthur

Hi Mel, before I go to bed I always pray, and when doing so, I think about Jesus too.

Then, I also think about Arthur, and this is only his nickname, he's really Arturo Alejandro Angellini Delgagh. Check his middle name: Angellini, since that, I think he's an angel and Jesus sent him to me to have happiness in my life.

You already know, thanks to Arthur, my Mother is back here with us all.

Greetings and hugs

Nice Day, with my whole soul:
Gusthav

It's nice that you had an encounter with Him even in dreams. You can have a more intimate relationship with Him if you will just find Him. God bless you and your family always my young friend.

Hi Gusthav,
That's so nice that God sent Arthur into your life to be some sort of a guardian angel to you. We all have an encounter with God if we seek Him with all our hearts. That was His promise and He always keep His promise. Thanks for the wonderful comments my young friend. God bless you and your loved ones always.

hi Mel, i've been helping to take care of one of my friends who's battling leukemia, so i haven't been around much on the blogs. excellent post! i seek God on a daily and continuous basis because even though we know Him, there's so much to God that we could spend the rest of our lives seeking Him, and there'd still be much to know about Him. i do know this: i couldn't live without Him in my life and leading and guiding me each day.

hope all is well with you and your family. continued peace & blessings!

We should seek most especially in times that we are lost and looking for some answers...

Hi Heiresschild,
That's okay, I understand you. We have to minister to the people the Lord has put into our care. Yes, I'm sure you have a very healthy relationship with the Lord. Thanks for your visit and inspiring comments. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi Ester,
Actually, we should seek Him at all times because we cannot really exist without Him. Thanks for your visit and inspiring comments. God bless you and your loved ones always my friend.

Hi Joe,
I'm not amazed at all that all these false information about Jesus Christ should come out at this point of our existence. The Bible had so many prophecies about these misleading information about the end times. It's just a case of whom we must believe. Shall we believe in the word of God as contained in the Bible or shall we believe in these pseudo claims that have lately sprouted to befuddle the minds of men. It's our choice. Thanks for your visit and your information. God bless.

thanks for this inspiring post. i am continuously seeking God...and I always find Him...nowadays I always ask Him to be with me in my decisions in life...asking Him if they were His plans for me...when things go wrong, I know that they're part of God's plan - to open a new window of opportunity for me.

God bless and have nice day to you and to your family.

Hi Chronic Chick,
Yes, God is good all the time and all the time, God is good. God bless. I hope you're fine now.

Hi Fingertalks,
There are two ways by which we can be assured that we are in constant touch with God. They are in 1Thess.4:1, "to live in order to please God," and 1Cor.10:31, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." Learning to live according to His will shall assure us of His constant guidance and protection in our lives, especially if we are already born again. Then, we will not walk blindly in life. Thanks for your visit and wonderful comments. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi From The Eyes of My Heart,
Thank you so much for your inspiring comments but, TO GOD BE THE GLORY. I try so much to balance writing for the Lord and increasing traffic to my blog in preparation to accepting commercial ads later on. I'm already retired and could no longer work because of ailments and I decided to go into commercial blogging to augment our income. Thank you so much and be rest assured that I will regularly visit your blog although I could not always leave a comment behind. Thanks again and God bless you and your loved ones always.

HI Keshi,
I'm saddened by that statement. All these vast universe and the countless stars in them, who do you think started them all? Did they just pop up like what some scientists claim? But that would be harder to achieve than the principle of creation. Has any scientist succeeded creating anything out of inert matter? It is harder to prove their theory of the big bang than the principle of creation. Ask anybody who is on the threshold of death? Who do they seek, the ghost of some long lost relative or God? Who put that still small voice in our hearts that warn us not to do any evil thing? And why do we strive to achieve momentous feats in life, just to please our own selves? People strive for perfection, do works of mercy, try to be a beacon of light for everybody, make noble sacrifices for others, for whom do they do these, for themselves?
Try to seek God in your inner heart and soul. Maybe, you will find Him there. God bless.

Hi Stephanie,
Yes, we need God like a fish needs water. Fish can never survive out of water. We too can never survive without God. God will always be there even if people will not acknowledge Him. He still loves them and long that they too be saved. Thanks for your visit and comment my friend. I'm so sorry if I have not visited you as often as before. I am so busy trying to increase traffic in my blogs in preparation for accepting commercial ads later on. God bless you and your loved ones always my friend.

Hi Elween,
I'm so honored with whatever award you have given me but I give it to Jesus Christ, the very reason why I'm blogging. I will go over to your blog later on to read about it. You have always been a source of inspiration to me my young friend as you strive to overcome all the mundane trials that come your way. I always smile at the little things that seemed to bother you always. But that's life. Thanks again as we both strive to seek God in our own small ways. God bless you and your loved ones always.
