Are You Moody?

ARE YOU MOODY
Are you moody? If you are, you must do something about it. The hardest person to deal with is a moody person, especially one who has violent mood swings. It is hard to be with a person who is happy one minute and in the next moment would be as grumpy as a mean bear roused from its slumber. Bad moods are triggered by hormonal imbalances in one's body, especially with women. Or it can be an accumulation of stresses that continue to build up in one's system. Whatever the cause is, it can be remedied before we lose all our friends and even our loved ones.

Here are some tips to overcome bad moods:

1. Understand the language of your body. If you are a woman, you may be having a severe PMS or premenstrual syndrome. Avoid people contact during this period and explain to people why you are in such a mood. You can seek professional help from a reputable gynecologist.

2. Think happy thoughts. Listen to your favorite music. Indulge in your favorite pastime or hobby .

3. Take a nature trip or see the blockbuster movie at the theater with your beloved. Not only will you correct your bad mood, you will also have an intimate bonding with your beloved.

4. Play with your kids. When was the last time you did that? Did it not leave you happy and refreshed?

5. And most importantly, meditate on the word of God and focus on God's unfathomable love for you. His goodness and peace will rub on you. Remain in God's peace always and kick that bad mood away. Anybody?

Hi Ceedy,
Being serious and introspective is different from being moody. Normally, moody means fluctuations of moods from extreme grumpiness to irritability. They are unstable in emotions. One moment they are high in spirits and the next moment they are extremely sensitive that you are always on your toes trying to decipher them. They are ruled by their emotions and feelings and sometimes they cannot even control them. Thanks for your comments. God bless.

Hi Darlyn,
You are one of those blessed by the Lord with an inborn good nature. You are like my wife who does not seem to know how to be angry and grumpy. People like you are very nice to be with since you radiate so much warmth and friendliness. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you and your loved ones always my friend.

Hi Noushy,
You know I used to be moody and extremely temperamental before. That was probably the reason why I develop high blood pressure. He, he, he, *lol* It is to the credit of my wife that she was patient with me during my emotional days. That was cured by the Lord and now I can be more patient and compassionate. Thanks for your visit and wonderful comments my dear beautiful friend. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi Lyn,
Of course you can repost this article in your blog. Just be sure you put a backlink in it so that I will have additional traffic because of your post. He, he, he *lol* Anyway, being overly moody is a personal thing. Some are born with them and some are able to overcome them. But it is really very hard to be with a very moody person so it is better to try and overcome it before we lose our friends. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you and your loved ones always my friend.

Hi Lyn,
Just press your mouse on the customize portion at the uppermost right corner of your blog. Then you will be transported to the edit section. Just press the comment section and you will see the comment page. Make your necessary editing there. I suggest you join Feedburner Feeds and install their widget both email feeds and RSS feeds so that those who will subscribe to your feeds will be given automatic feeds every time you make a post. It's an automatic linkage. Try to initiate link exchanges as this will increase your rank and authority. Blog hop through Blog Catalog and Entrecard and you will have a deluge of traffic. Thanks and God bless.

Hi Sassy,
It takes a lot of guts and humility to admit that you are moody and a nagger. You have to determine what triggers these bad moods. If they are physiological in nature, then you need medical help. If it is emotional or spiritual in nature, you can always give it to the Lord in exchange for His joy. As the Christian song goes, "I'm trading my sorrows, I'm trading my shame. I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. I'm trading my sickness, I'm trading my pain. I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord." Nothing that the Lord cannot cure if we humble ourselves before Him. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless.

Hi Mel,
thanks for this post. I think that we have to work and control our emotional and physical being. It is not healthy not only for yourself but for others too.
If I am in bad mood I try to avoid people. I like to go for a walk and meditate. Walking or running and meditate is a good medicine for bad mood.
God bless you and your family!

i'm not really moody but i find it hard to recover from a bad mood...^^ tnx for the post...

Mel Avila Alarilla said...

Hi Krystyna,
Since we are in Christ, we must strive to let the Holy Spirit transform us. We must never let negative moods ruin our peace in Christ. If negative moods set in, meditate on the contrary word of God and let the fruit of the Holy Spirit richly dwell in you. I wish you could put up an email feeds in your blog (either Feedburner or Feedblitz) so that I can subscribe to your blog and receive your post regularly via email. Thanks for your visit my friend and I hope you are doing well in your life. Just trust God. He will bring you to greener pasture. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Hi Bb_Anne,
Moods are products of our emotions. Emotion is rather hard to control. It's like a wild horse that goes wherever it wants to go. We must never be controlled by our emotions but we must be the ones to control them. Dire consequences result in uncontrollable emotions and passions. Thanks for your visit and comments my friend. God bless.
