OFW nightmare - My Father Story

I always consider myself an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker because both my parents are OFW) even though I a migrant Filipino. Thanks to the new technology it eases the pain of being away from your love ones you can chat see each other through webcamera but NOTHING compares to pain when one is sick or in pain and you can not hug or kiss or just be there comforting each other awaiting the sad news.

My father was supposed to be ok and he actually was fine last Sunday, he wash the dishes but they have to perform another operation because they have to clean somethingthere is a swelling in his brain so he was operated for the second time last Monday but this morning he was bleeding so he was operated again. It looks like the doctors made a mistake .

Right now I feel so much pain that I want to join my mother and 2 brothers and sister in Madrid but I can’t do that right now many things is playing in my mind but I told my mother it’s beyond human hands we all need to pray because what I can remember is that all I asked from our Lord He granted all my prayers
For my blogger friends knew about my father

History I will post some pictures of him.

I can say that yes working abroad makes our life better and OFW’s are considered the new heroes by sending money to their families. Those remittances helps the economy of the Philippines but it’s also has consequences.

So if I can’t update this blog you know why.

Please Pray for my father’s recovery and our family to be strong in this time of crisis.

Thank you.

Ana Lindehann of The Filipina Mom in Denmark

I know how hard it is to be far from the people you really care. Somtimes life is hard when you know you can have everything. I have to sacrifice my needs to be with my parents so I can give my children a good life. I miss my mom so much.

Hi Mel,
My father is still in ICU but because of our prayers especially from your readers who we don't even know, he is able to move and response to my family when they ask him something.
Now we are so excited if he can speak since they moved the tube from his mouth to his throat.
Mel when I wrote the prayer request we were really down because the doctors were saying sorry to my mother but now we hope that by July we can visit him in good condition. I didn't knew where to turn to at that time and I'm glad I did ask your help and look how your readers responded.
Once again my sincere thanks to everyone who prayed and who continue to do so.

God bless you all

Hi Ana,
In behalf of my readers and myself I say, you're welcome. But as always I say, TO GOD BE THE GLORY. More than anything else the doctors, the medicines and all the modern medical apparatus that helped your father, it is God, working through the intercession of His faithful, who is at work in your father's body. Let us all continue to pray for his complete recovery. Nothing is impossible with God for those who believe and have put their complete trust in Him. Thanks again for your visit and sincere appreciation. God bless you and your loved ones always.

Thanks for all the prayers my father it helps us but God is the only one who knows what is best for us.
My father passed away last June 9 in Madrid we are still shaken it seems like he was just with us talking, laughing and now he's gone. My father left us only good memories although we are far apart we are connected by his undying love to all of us his children and his wife.
Thanks once again
