Vignettes From The Pearly Gates (Part 9)

(Day 9)

We may never leave any memorials behind; no one may even notice when we are gone; but God remembers each and every little thing we have done for His praise and glory; so we hold on to His promise, "To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne." (Revelation 3: 21)

yes! I will just add my mother's favorite verse; " not a single sparrows fall to the ground without the father's knowledge."

Godbless!

Hi Janeth,
Yes, that verse is a reassurance that whatever our situation maybe, the Lord is on top of that and He will never leave us nor forsake us. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

thanks for this post. This reminds me of a friend's brother who just took his life few days ago. So sad to know he's gone pero Im wondering how could someone take his own life? Siguro too much depression ba? ANyway, I hope he rest in peace. Ang dami pa naman nagmamahal sa kanya and he was too young.

Happy weekend sir *)

Hats off to the verity of these vignettes Kuya Mel. In fact, all the physical comforts that we are experiencing right now will be left behind once we are gone but not the knightly deeds we've bestowed to the least of our brothers. As a saying goes " Good deeds don't leave the house, bad acts spread over a thousand miles."

Hi Bambie dear,
That is the work of evil spirits who enticed depressed people to take their own lives. But our lives are not our own to take. Only God can take away one's life when that person's allotted time on earth is through. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Umma,
How right you are. We can never bring any physical wealth we have accumulated all these years to the afterlife when we are gone. But God will acknowledge all the things we did for the least of our brethren. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
