SATAN'S DOOM AND THE LAST JUDGMENT
Revelation 20: 7-10 says, "When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth-Gog and Magog- to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand of the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city He loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." Revelation 20: 11-15 further says, "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from His presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

Then the New Jerusalem will come down from the sky to be the new dwelling place of God and His people. Heaven and earth had already passed away and there was no longer any sea. God will be with His people and there will no longer be any death nor disease. There will be no more tears in the New Jerusalem.

The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ

THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST
After the Great Tribulation, the Lord Jesus Christ will come to earth in great pomp and glory together with the angelic host and all the people of the world will be forced to kneel down before the King of kings and the Lord of lords by the mighty sword of the archangel. Jesus will be riding in a white horse together with the great army of the Lord dressed in white and ready for battle. They will be opposed by the beast and the false prophet and by millions and millions of their supporters as they march in a new land bridge connecting Asia to the Middle East. This land bridge is created by the great cataclysm during the Great Tribulation. They march to the plains of Megiddo in the valley of Jezreel for the final battle of Armageddon. The beast and the false prophet and their supporters are defeated at Megiddo and they are thrown to the Lake of Fire which is the second death. An archangel with a great chain and key chains Satan in the Great Abyss where he will remain chained for a thousand years so that he could not deceive the peoples of the earth. And Jesus Christ will reign for a thousand years where peace and prosperity will reign for the people of the earth. Those who were beheaded during the Great Tribulation, who did not receive the mark of the beast, will be brought back to life to serve as ministering priests for Christ during His millennial reign. There will be no longer tears as the Lord will wipe away the tears in people's eyes. There will be no disease nor untimely death because people will live for a longer period of time.

The Great Tribulation

THE GREAT TRIBULATION
After the rapture of the church of God, wherein all genuine born again Christians or those who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior will be taken by the Lord to be with Him in heaven, the dreaded and horrible Great Tribulation will ensue. This is a terrible seven year period of extreme horror and earthshaking events never before seen or will be seen again on earth. The Great Tribulation period will be divided into two equal parts of three and a half years. The first three and a half years will be a period of great hope for all the people of the world as the Anti Christ will appear in the world scene and will appear to have solved all the economic and political problems of the world. He will be hailed as a great leader of the world where he will establish a new world government and a new economic order for the world. But at the end of those three and a half year period, he will declare himself as a great demigod and will force all people of the world to have a mark on their hands or forehead for them to transact with any government entity. Failure to have those mark on their hands and foreheads will mean beheading for the person concerned. Most of those who will be beheaded will be Jewish converts who will preach the Gospel to the world that has gone cold and whose hearts have hardened. The second three and a half year period will be one of extreme suffering and worldwide cataclysm where devastating earthquakes will split most of the inhabited areas of the earth. Hailstones, as big as small boulders and fist sized rocks , will fall from the sky to torment all people. Meteorites, great in numbers, will also fall from the sky to scorch the earth and kill millions of people. Even in the most horrible and extremely painful situations, the people of the earth will not mend their ways but instead curse God because of their extreme sufferings. Multitudes of over sized locusts will invade the remaining plants on earth and sting people with their extremely painful stingers. Woe to those who will be left behind on earth for they will suffer all of these agonies and much more as described in the Book of Revelation in the Holy Bible. CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD AND BE SAVED.

It's Our 25th (SILVER) Wedding Anniversary

On April 25, 1985, my wife and I were married. After 25 years of blissful marriage, we had four offsprings- 3 boys and 1 girl. Our eldest is already 24 years old and is working in a call center at Cubao, Metro Manila. Our second eldest is 20 years old and is also working in an insurance firm in Makati, Metro Manila. Our third and youngest son is entering 3rd year high school in June and our youngest and only girl is 8 years old and will enter grade 3 this June also. We would have wanted to hold a special renewal of vows and a grand celebration with family, relatives and friends. We would have been so overjoyed by this momentous event. But it would not be so. My wife is in the US working and my children and I are in the Philippines. Why do I feel so lonely and empty inside? Because my wife cannot come to the Philippines because her papers are not yet in order and if she does, she could no longer go back to the US to work again. But even though this has happened, I am still very happy and joyful for I know that my God has something better in store for all of us. I will be cooking spaghetti with carbonara sauce for my kids as we thank God for all the blessings we have so abundantly received from Him. It's a dual celebration because the 26th of April is the 24th birthday of my eldest son. In all these things, all I can say is "TO GOD BE THE GLORY NOW AND FOREVERMORE."

Left Behind (After The Rapture)

LEFT BEHIND (AFTER THE RAPTURE)
When the Lord comes, He will rapture His church. Those who accepted Him as their Lord and savior, and have surrendered their lives to Him, and who have walked in His ways, will join the rapture. They will vanish from sight and will meet the Lord in the air. Pity those who will be left behind. These are those who trusted in their own will and who insisted in pursuing their own paths to salvation. They refused to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior and instead devised ways and means to attain their own salvation. They will join the ranks of unbelievers, of evil doers, of atheists and agnostics, of those who practiced the black arts and magic, of those who dabbled in the occult, of those who opposed God in all they do, the sinners and the hedonists who walked the way of pleasure and lust of the flesh. They will all be left behind to experience the terrible Great Tribulation that would befall the world. God has prescribed the only way to salvation by sending His only begotten Son to die for the sins of mankind. Jesus opened the door wide to salvation and eternal life through His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead. But some people are just too proud to humble themselves before God by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior and instead they try to work their own way to salvation. This is a clear slap on the face of the Father. He who rejects the Son, rejects the Father who sent Him. This is God's prescription for salvation- "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). We pity those who would be left behind because of obstinacy and pride.

Rapture

RAPTURE
What is rapture? Rapture is that most amazing and spectacular moment when Christ will fetch His church to meet Him on the air and spare it the horrors and extreme sufferings of the seven years of Great Tribulation. The church here is not any physical structure but the people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior and have lived their lives according to His will. It will not be witnessed by people around the world but will happen in an instance, in a twinkling of the eye. This is not the second coming of Jesus Christ. This is the rapture of His church which is described in the Bible as spotless, without blemish and wrinkle free (referring to the white robe of righteousness of true Christians). This is described by Paul in 1Thessalonians 4: 16-17, "For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." There will be pandemonium and chaos around the world as people who will be left behind will suddenly realize the truth of the word of God. And a great dread will come upon them from the expectation of the onset of the Great Tribulation. There will be bedlam and great confusion as millions will suddenly vanish in thin air and all the newspapers the morning after will scream with headlines of "Millions Disappear, Vanish Into Thin Air." The people who disregarded the preachings and warnings of well meaning Christians will rue the day that they did not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. Their homemade philosophies in life will become as hollow as the emptiness they will feel when they realize that they were left behind.

Curses And Blessings

CURSES AND BLESSINGS

What do you want in your life, curses or blessings, life or death? These were the simple equation for the Israelites set forth by Moses before they entered the Promise Land and these equations still stand today for all people of the world. Obedience to God means life and blessings and disobedience means death and curses. Disobedience to God, characterized by sin, especially the sin of idolatry, brings eternal death and the cursed life from the Lord. There will be no peace of mind and no real joy in the heart for the disobedient person. He may enjoy the fruit of his sin for a little while but in the end, it will lead him to destruction. Obedience to the will of God, by surrendering our lives to Him and by shunning evil, bring eternal life and countless blessings from the Lord. Though we may be dispossessed for the moment, though we may linger in trial for awhile, we have genuine joy in our hearts and peace of mind at night because we know that our God will take care of all our needs and deliver us from all our woes in the end. We can seek solace from His divine promises, especially the promise of eternal and blissful life with Him, as our reward for our obedience to His will. So if you are suffering right now because of righteousness and for following the will of God in your life, take heart and be of courage, for your deliverance is at hand. Never envy those who are wallowing in riches, power and pleasures, for they already have their reward here on earth but will suffer eternal death in the afterlife. Curses or blessings, life or death? It's your choice for your life.
